Equine Assisted Personal Growth and Learning—Are you ready for to A New Day in your life to begin? Allow the horses to give you the freedom, wisdom, and strength to unveil your authentic self.  Engaging in this powerful and effective form of counseling support will allow  the horses to assist you with whatever challenges may be present in your life or goals that you may have.

When you reach a roadblock in your life let the horses help you through it.  At Amethist Acres, you will participate in facilitated activities with your feet on the ground, while the co-facilitating team provides and ensures safety at all times.  This experience does not involve riding and you don’t need any previous horse experience.

We offer individual, couple and family work that could include, but is not limited to addressing Relationship Issues, parent/teen conflict, and supporting Youth at Risk.

Equine Assisted Learning (E.A.L.) is a unique form of therapeutic support because it is primarily non-verbal.  It allows you to have facilitated experience of activities with the horse, which will positively impact your self-esteem, assertiveness, and communication. Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol, abuse, eating disorder, anger, or anything that is blocking you from living your full potential, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe environment.

This equine assisted experience will also prove to be a very effective compliment to any other form of counseling, therapy or support you may already be involved in but feel stuck with a particular issue or feelings and are unable to move forward.
